Since 1983, Mid-Kansas Pediatric Associates has had the privilege of caring for your family, and we are committed to ensuring that your children continue to receive the highest quality of care. With that mission in mind, our practice has some exciting developments to share that will enable us to continue to provide the outstanding healthcare that your children deserve as they develop from birth to young adults.

We are proud to announce that on October 1, 2025, our practice is becoming an affiliate of Children’s Mercy, one of the nation’s premier health systems dedicated to pediatric care and research.  

We expect this affiliation to strengthen our access to a vast network of pediatric specialists and keep us at the forefront of clinical research, assuring your children receive the most current, evidence-based, and state of the art preventative and diagnostic care. It has also become necessary for us to evaluate and adjust our fees for service in keeping with the benefits provided by insurance payers. You may see this reflected in future Explanation of Benefit (EOB) statements from your respective insurance company and statements from our office. While it is not our intention to raise costs for our patients and families, we realize the impact of increasing our fees may trickle down to you because of the prevalence of greater cost sharing within benefit plans. Should you encounter a financial hardship related to a medical bill from us, contact our billing department at (316) 634-2000. Our billing staff are always here to help you understand the benefits associated with your specific insurance plan and can assist you with flexible payment options if that is necessary.
