Gregory Gherardini Jr., M.D.
Dr. Gherardini became a pediatrician because he still feels like a kid at heart. While he understands that medicine can be serious, working with children and families allows him to be more relaxed, engage the children on their level and provide a comfortable environment for parents even during the harder times. As a primary care provider, Dr. Gherardini finds treating and educating families over a wide range of topics to be rewarding. Specifically, he enjoys discussing and treating asthma, and dermatology concerns. He and his wife, Kati, are graduates of Derby H.S. They have two beautiful daughters named Sophie and Lucy who keep them busy with school, competitive gymnastics, soccer and music classes. Dr. Gherardini spends his free time enjoying his family and sports. He is unapologetic about being a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He is honored to live and work in the community he grew up in, and you can frequently see him on your trips to Target, Lowes and other Derby establishments: say, “Hello” if you see him there! His perfect day would be a snow-day where he could build snow tunnels and forts with his daughters.
